CALF FRY AT THE FOREFRONT IN BREAKING NEW RED DIRT BANDS

Stillwater, OK-- Calf Fry in Stillwater, Oklahoma has been showcasing Red Dirt country music artists for over three decades and is becoming known for helping to break new artists and achieve greater stardom. 

Bands before they became famous have performed at The Tumbleweed and/or Calf Fry and now selling out arenas and stadiums include Luke Combs, Koe Wetzel, Parker McCollum, Zach Bryan, Cody Johnson, Turnpike Troubadours, The Great Divide,  Jason Boland, Stoney LaRue and Cross Canadian Ragweed. 

These bands are some of the biggest and most popular in the Red Dirt genre.

Stillwater, Oklahoma home of Oklahoma State University is known as the birthplace for Red Dirt music, having started in the mid to late seventies and The Tumbleweed was at the forefront having booked these artists before anyone really knew who they were.  Calf Fry soon followed and gave these bands a larger platform to perform on.
